A gentle little space for little minds to learn, play and grow
MeeBon is a safe, warm and nurturing home-based family day care, led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. Children learn at their own pace, feel they belong, and build trusting relationships.
What is Family Day Care?
Family Day Care (FDC) is regulated early childhood education and care that happens in a registered home. It follows the same national standards as a childcare centre, but in a small group that feels like family.
Small groups
By law, a family day care can look after no more than 7 children at a time, and no more than 4 under school age. More time for every child.
A real home
A calm, familiar setting with indoor and outdoor learning spaces, where children settle quickly and feel secure.
One familiar teacher
The same caring teacher every day, so your child builds a strong, trusting bond and you always know who to talk to.
Regulated & supported
MeeBon is registered with Lil' Angels Family Day Care Service, fully insured, follows the Early Years Learning Framework, and is approved for the Child Care Subsidy.

Hi Families
I'm Julia, a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, with a real passion for supporting children through their most important early years. Working in early childhood centres taught me so much about child development, routines, documentation and teamwork, and about helping children feel safe, engaged and cared for.
Why I started MeeBon
Along the way I saw how much children thrive on continuity, familiarity and secure relationships. I wanted to spend more time getting to know each child, follow their interests closely, and care for their emotional wellbeing alongside their learning.
That is why I chose a small, home-based setting. Here I can be fully present: listening, observing and responding to each child in a meaningful way. I run MeeBon with care and professionalism, a strong focus on quality and compliance, and genuine partnership with families.
"MeeBon is something I have built with care, reflection and gratitude. I look forward to welcoming families who value a respectful, calm and child-centred approach to early learning."
Thoughtfully set-up spaces for curious minds
The home is set up with indoor and outdoor learning spaces, and Julia prepares new experiences every week to spark the children's curiosity.

Questions parents often ask
Is family day care as regulated as a childcare centre?
Yes. Family day care operates under the same National Quality Framework as centres. MeeBon is registered with Lil' Angels Family Day Care Service, which supports and monitors its teachers. The program follows the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and MeeBon holds comprehensive insurance.
How many children are in the group?
A family day care can look after up to 7 children at a time, and no more than 4 of them can be under school age. That means much more one-on-one time than a typical centre room.
What is the minimum booking?
Regular full-time and part-time care starts from two days a week. Casual, emergency, holiday and weekend care are available by arrangement.
What do I need to pack?
Breakfast, morning tea, afternoon tea, nappies, wipes and sunscreen are all provided. Just pack your child's comfort items, a change of clothes and anything else your child needs.
Can I get the Child Care Subsidy?
Yes. MeeBon is CCS approved, so eligible families can receive the subsidy just as they would at a centre. Your CCS percentage is set by Services Australia.
Can I visit before enrolling?
Of course. Call, text or WhatsApp 0435 735 268, or send an enquiry below to arrange a visit and meet Julia.
Could MeeBon be your child's home away from home?
Come and see the space, meet Julia, and ask anything. The best way to know is to visit.
